Autumn Chakra Healing Yoga Retreat

Join Emily for a 3 day weekend retreat on Friday 1 – Sunday 3 March 2019 in the beautiful Victorian countryside of Trentham, just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne.

This retreat will explore the seven chakras (energy centres) to form a deeper connection within ourselves as we enter Autumn. It is designed to connect you with your mind, body and spirit and to relax, restore and prepare for the cooler months ahead through yoga, meditation, sound and nature. You will guided through healing Slow Flow and Yin Yoga classes and nurtured by delicious organic plant based meals.

Over the course of the weekend there will be plenty of time to immerse yourself in the tranquil property as well as the natural surroundings of the nearby Wombat State Forest.

This retreat is particularly beneficial for anyone with:

  • a curiosity to heal their body and mind using ancient Yogic principles
  • physical injuries or illnesses
  • insomnia, anxiety, depression, PTSD or stressed
  • beginner through to intermediate yoga experience (this weekend won’t involve practices requiring you to turn yourself into a pretzel) as you will be guided through mindful, gentle practices

  • 4 healing and nurturing Yoga practices and Yoga Nidra meditations to help you relax, unwind and connect to your inner being
  • Friday evening Yoga Nidra to help you unwind and prepare for the weekend ahead
  • Immersive sessions exploring the chakras and how you can deeply connect back with yourself through the practice of yoga, meditation, pranayama (breath) and sound
  • Saturday evening Sound Healing, immersing you with the sounds of crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls and chimes among other sounds to connect you to your energy and senses, entering profound states of healing, meditation and relaxation
  • Nutritious organic plant based meals
  • Personal time to explore the natural surrounds and walking tracks
  • 2 nights’ accommodation

Emily May is a passionate and caring yoga teacher offering mindful practices to help her students connect with themselves and their inner purpose. Her offerings include Slow Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Nidra (sleep based meditation) and Sound Healings. She has trained with some of the world’s leading teachers and has recently spent time studying abroad at an Ashram to further explore ancient Yogic practices.

With a mindfulness focus, Emily teaches from the heart, guiding students to create profound shifts and healings to shift long held emotions and experiences from their bodies; helping set them on a path to health and non attachment.
